Pilk’s work is characterized by a bold use of color, a fun juxtaposition of textures and a modern sense of style....
Her favorite arrangements are built for a particular space, and all of her work is informed by her background in art.
“It’s everything you study in art school,” Pilk says. “It’s color, composition and form. It’s sculpture.” She goes on to say, “I love working with pods and seeds and sculptural elements. I think outside of the box and combine things in an eclectic way. I’m drawn to seeing how colors mix.”
