Flora Home came to life in 1999, the culmination of founder Stephanie Pilk’s multifaceted talents and experiences. With a BFA in design, Pilk worked in fashion and film in New York and L.A. before settling in Maine. In its original incarnation, Flora Home was a retail store specializing in art, antiques, and home accessories, surrounded by carefully chosen flowers and plants. In a short time, however, the demand for floral design for weddings, parties, corporate events and special occasions became the driving force of the business. In 2004 Flora Home moved to its current studio space and is devoted exclusively to producing exquisite, one-of-a-kind arrangements for the home, for the office, for life.
